Natron Nordic seeks to spread the cross-country gospel by providing tools, knowledge, passion and experience that help skiers enjoy the sport.

Natron Nordic Enterprises is the final home of a vagabond set of ski related activities that began back in 1999 as The Subaru Factory Team Academies and Coaching Program run by Endurance Enterprises in Bozeman, Montana.  Seeing a great way to ruin a perfectly viable business, Savage Enterprises, a computer consultancy owned by racer Nathan Schultz, took on the Subaru Factory Team Academies and Coaching in Fall 2002 due to insurance and manpower issues at the Factory Team's worldwide headquarters.

As more energy was poured into developing camps and coaching programs, what began as a small side hobby started to outgrow it's ability to run quietly side by side with a software consulting business.  In January of 2005 Savage Enterprises spun off all skiing-related activities to a new Limited Liability Company called Natron Nordic Enterprises, LLC.

In 2006, Natron Nordic launched Boulder Nordic Sport, expanding into nordic specialty retail and stone-grinding operations.  In addition to the store in Boulder, Colorado; on-line retail at natronnordic.com and the stone-grinding operation, Natron Nordic organizes cross-country skiing camps across the US, Argentina and New Zealand as well as offering personal coaching services to clients.

In 2009, BNS opened a new store in Portland, Maine.  BNS East is managed by Roger Knight and is a retail store and drop-off point for stone-grinding located at 200 Anderson, Suite 5; Portland, ME 04101.  207.541.7438.

Also in 2009, BNS became the North American distributor for Holmenkol and the US distributor for Ski*Go, Guru, and Magnar.  Using a direct-to-consumer sales model allows BNS to provide these premier brands at dramatically lower prices while backing them with unparalleled knowledge and experience in the field. 

Cross-country skiing is our passion and it's all we do.  The knowledge we have gained through years of racing, coaching, race service and running events is constantly growing and we're excited to share it to help make the sport more fun and accessible.
