Wow. Lots going on around here. Here are some quick updates:
Heavy snow at Devil's Thumb this morning will complement the base from a few weeks ago, making the outlook for our Thanksgiving Camp one of the best in years. Up to 2 feet is predicted, so it should be great. We still have space available in both the adult and junior camps. Click here to see more on the camp.
Yellowstone has snow and we are excited to meet Zach up there with our stone grinder to set up shop. Well, we're not so excited to load up our entire grinding shop into a 16 foot truck to drive for 16 hours, but we can't wait to get there. Reservations for grind time are pouring in and we anticipate being silly busy, so please get your request in if you know you will be grinding skis up there. Peter, Eric and I will be up there with Zach grinding skis. Here is drop-off info:
415 Yellowstone Ave inside Rendezvous Snowmobile Rentals. 303.818.2365. Drop-off will be Nov 20-24 8-9AM and 4-5PM. We will also be at the Expo accepting skis each night. Please download a work order form and fax it in to us at 866.371.0631 to reserve space. The earlier we can get your skis during the week, the better.
Things have been very busy at our retail shop and the overwhelming demand combined with lack of delivery/late arrivals from Salomon and Madshus has been painful. Thanks everyone for your patience with us in our first month of business and we look forward to a time when we have everything dialed in and delivered. Salomon is shipping a large batch of product to us today and we will give an update with availability of boot models and sizes later today. We have a list of about 75 people to call when specific boots come in, and we have not forgotten you, it's just that we still don't have the boots from our suppliers.
Team Orders are trickling in. We are starting to fill orders as they come in and we will call you as soon as things arrive and are ready to pick up. Please be patient - we don't have any control over the delivery time of these items and are working as hard as we can to get them ready.
We will be announcing the schedule for the winter session of our training group later today as well. We have had a lot of interest in that and we are excited to have a good group for the Dec - March program. We have 3 coaches lined up and we will have 2-3 sessions each week on snow.
Back to work!
