Weather (from NOAA) – Saturday the high will be near 32, and Saturday night the low is 25 with a 20% of rain or snow. Sunday the high is 37 with a slight chance of rain or snow.
Recommendation - Forecast Based Recommendation
Base Layer: SkiGo LF Graphite. Iron, scrape, brush.
Race Paraffin: SkiGo HF Orange. Iron, scrape, brush. However,if Saturday night does not get below 30 degrees, or if it is raining, then SkiGo HF Yellow would be recommended.
Fluoro Powder: Consider Holmenkol Wet powder or SkiGo C22 powder
Top Coat: It is recommended to test topcoats morning of. Consider Holmenkol Wet block or SkiGo C22 solid.
Kick Recommendations: It is always better to test kick morning of rather than going off a written recommendation.
Binder: Toko Green Base Binder.
Grip: SkiGo HF Red, SkiGo HF Yellow, SWIX VR65 could all be good options. If you have a pair of zero or rub skis they could be in the mix so it might be worth prepping them. It looks to be a tricky day of kick waxing so you will definitely wanting to test morning of.
