BNS Wax Recommendation
US Nationals
Skate Sprint 1/01/2012
UPDATE - The races have been rescheduled for tomorrow morning, same schedule. We have changed our wax recommendation to account for the colder temperatures forecasted for overnight and tomorrow. For those waxing tonight we recommend a parrafin layer of Ski*Go HF Green, top coat of Ski*Go C44/7 Powder, and an application of Ski*Go C55/99 Liquid. We will be testing in the morning on the course before the race, stop by our wax room for the latest information.
The sprint is on a challenging course with a long gradual run out into the finish straight that will make for an exciting finish. The tracks were variable early this morning, but as we began our test the sun and other skiers had turned the course into mostly uniform, wet snow. The up hills were getting soft by late morning.
