Race Paraffin: Ski*Go Orange/Green Premix
Fluoro Powder: Ski*Go C44/7 Powder
Top Coat: Ski*Go CM10 and Ski*Go C55/99 mixed.
Kick: Rode Chola binder, thin layer heated and wiped clean, Guru Extreme 39 Hard klister or Rex Blue/Rex Violet klister mix with a Guru Hallgeir hardwax cover.
Testing-
We tested paraffins, powders, and top coats today and found nothing better than our wax selection for this morning’s races. We saw some durability issues today so we are recommending two layers of graphite underneath for this reason. Our kick test was done early this afternoon and we had excellent kick, glide, and durability with the Guru line.
CONCLUSIONARY NOTES – We will be testing kick wax in the morning, stop by our cabin for the latest recommendation.
note: BNS imports Holmenkol and SkiGo waxes, and also sells waxes from Swix, Toko, Rode, Solda, Rex, Guru, Innovax, Magnar and others. We search for the fastest waxes for our customers and our testing is professional, objective and transparent. We make our best effort to test what we think is the best from each brand. However, given that we are testing more options from Holmenkol and SkiGo, there is a bias toward those brands. With this full disclosure, you can assess the legitimacy of our testing yourself. Visit Swix and Toko for their official recommendations. If you have any questions please contact us.
