Recommendation
We recommend the following:
Base Layer: 2 Layers of Ski*Go LF Graphite, scraped and brushed
Race Paraffin: Ski*GO HF Blue or Holmenkol Matrix Blue, scraped and brushed
Powder: Ski*Go C105 Powder
Top Coat: Top coats should be tested in the morning before the race. Ski*Go C55/99 could possibly run well in the forecasted conditions
Kick: Ironed in layer of Ski*Go XC Blue covered with Ski*Go HF Violet
Testing Discussion – Testing based on weather report and local knowledge from today's skiing.
RESULTS OF TEST:
Jackson received a bit of snow yesterday in the storm. This covered up a lot of the bare spots and made for great conditions. Snow remains a bit icy, however, more snow is in the near forecast. If race were run in current conditions, a klister binder covered with a Blue XC hard wax would perform well. With new snow, a hard wax binder will work well covered with a warmer hard wax for strong kick.
