Saturday is a 10/5k individual start skate and Sunday is a 15k classic mass start.  Snow is man-made.

Weather –

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around -5. Calm wind.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 17. Wind chill values between -3 and -13. Calm wind becoming south southeast between 10 and 13 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. South southeast wind between 10 and 13 mph.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 32. South southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west southwest.

Recommendation

We recommend the following:

Base Layer:  Ski*Go LF Graphite   

Race Paraffin: Holmenkol Matrix Blue or Ski*Go HF Green with Ski*Go P16

Powder: Holmenkol Cold

Topcoat:  Topcoats will be tested in the morning

Testing Discussion – Bill Pierce was on site testing paraffins and powders today.  His test results are below.  We also heard results from an independent test that Ski*Go HF Green with Ski*Go P16 was running very well today.  This was running well without a flouro powder.
