Nathan just called in from the course with the results of our morning test. Here are the recommendations:
Structure: CV0 is running very well, as it was all of yesterday. We will be testing hand-structures in the next hour and will have that recommendation around or shortly after 9:00.
Paraffins: We put HK Matrix Green on most of our race skis last night, and the call is to stick with that. Other paraffins tested included Swix LF6, Start HF80 and HK Matrix Black/Blue.
Powders: Unlike much of yesterday, the fluoro powders were making a big difference this morning. Nathan's top pick was Ski*Go C44 (the new stuff, which is the same as last season's C107). The Swix recommendation of FC7 with FC7BS roto-corked on top was a very close second. It's worth noting that we're holding off on our fluoro-block test until about 9:00, and the FC7 block application puts that wax job one step ahead of the rest of our test. HK Cold59 was also really good. We ran Solda HP06 and also Ski*Go C380 to further examine the cold end of the spectrum and they weren't as good.

UPDATED 5:50PM with new test results

 Wax Test Results, BNS Presentation Schedule, Ski Testing, Stone Grinding & More
It's been a busy week already in West Yellowstone. The snow is great, Lots of people are here and we are already into the thick of it. We set up on Saturday and we've got our first grind batch of 99 pairs of skis almost done, we've zeroed all of our test skis and run our first wax and grind tests, and began working on snow with athletes we're helping out with ski selection and grinding.
