The Boulder Training Group will meet at North Boulder Park on Tuesday morning at 6:45.  We will focus on skate technique.  6:45 AM at the park

On Wednesday, we will go up to Eldora and focus on classical.  If there are skaters, we will have one coach there for skating, otherwise we'll all do classic.  6:45 AM at the lodge, 7AM, warmed up and ready to go at four corners intersection

The weather is not going as expected in Fraser/Winter Park.  Current conditions as of 3PM Friday were 34F and partly cloudy.  It looks like the cold and snow are not materializing and so it may be advisable to have a second pair with Swix LF7 and be prepared for some warm wax.

It's going to be cold and snowy this weekend, so we've got a lot of info and special sales to keep you warm, toasty and gliding fast.  Thursday's wax clinic topic is Classical technique followed by open wax night where we have benches, irons, tools and expert advice to help you wax your skis and get ready for what is shaping up to be another snowy weekend.

We will be running a 15% off sale on all Swix base layer, outerwear and gloves through Sunday.  Cold waxes are 20%, see store for details.

The Snow Mountain Classic is Saturday, with the Winter Triathlon taking place Sunday at Devil's Thumb Ranch.  Check the details of this news item for wax recommendations from Boulder Nordic Sport, Swix and Toko.

We are also running a special race waxing special for the weekend.  See inside for details.

It should be easy to hit a wax that works well for this weekend's Colorado Cup races, but a little bit tougher to find the absolute perfect wax.  Low overnight temps combined with rapid warming make it difficult to predict the snow conditions.  We have some feedback from DU coaches and grind recommendations inside.   Read More...

We have a final update for the 2006-2007 Colorado Cup.  Check it out.  A great series with a lot of fun racing...
