BNS Race Waxing Service includes testing to find the best wax combinations and then base prepping with the appropriate CH, LF, HF layers followed by pure fluoro (Cera F, Toko Jetstream, SkiGo, etc).  Your skis will be race ready the morning of the event.

Drop-Off / Pick Up

All pick-ups and drop-offs will be at the Swix tent at the race venue (Ponderosa State Park). We will be updating this procedure once we get into our space in McCall and figure out how best to do pick-ups and drop-offs. Please visit the Swix tent to find a printed sheet with updated information. We will email updates to you and post them on the web site as well.

For the races on Saturday, March 1, please drop off skis at the Swix tent between 10AM and Noon Friday, Feb 29. If you cannot make this drop-off time, please contact the mobile number to arrange alternate plans.

If you have multiple pairs of skis, we will help you choose your best race pair on the day before the race and work with you to establish kick zones, etc. We can wax multiple pairs for you, but each extra will incur an additional fee. Your skis will arrive race ready before the start of your race. Please allow some time in your warm-up to test skis and adjust kick waxes if necessary. Given the predicted temperatures, please expect a little panic and last-minute adjustment to kick waxes. We suggest bringing extra pair(s) of skis with you for warm-up skis so we can spend as much times as needed on your race skis. We also expect a lot of dirty snow, so having an extra pair for your warm-up will keep your race skis clean and fast.
