Classic Rollerskis have racheted front wheels to provide grip and wider wheels for lateral stability and straight tracking. They provide the best simulation of striding, double poling and kick-double-pole. They do not roll over as easily as the 100mm diameter skating wheels, so skating is difficult on them and will quickly ruin the wheels.
