Ski Info
The Fischer Carbonlite Classic is Fischer's premier classic skis with
Carbonlite construction that lightens the core and gives the ski
torsional rigidity and a snappy, energetic feel. Carbon tips and tails
reduce the weight slightly, but due to where they are positioned, they
make the ski feel much lighter.
Every Carbonlite we carry has been hand-selected to ensure we find the
best quality possible. Several configurations of Carbonlite Classics
are available. The 812 and 902 mold skis are all lumped together under
"carbonlite" in the drop-down boxes below, while the Carbonlite zero is
labeled "RCS Zero". Don't worry too much about length or model - just
make your best guess and we'll call you to discuss exactly what you are
looking for and then we can pick the right ski for you.
- Carbonlite Plus: 812 camber with 28 (Plus) base.
- Carbonlite Cold: 812 camber with A5 (cold) base.
- Carbonlite S-Track: 902 mold, generally higher camber and longer
pocket with a soft tip that splays significantly. These are a great
high-moisture hard wax or klister ski for a competent classic skier.
- "RCS Zero" - this is actually a carbonlite zero ski with special
base inlay (polyethylene instead of polyethylene/rubber) that is faster
than the standard zero inlay.
