New for 2009-2010, The Alpina ER Eve Elite Race Women's Boot takes the best features of the RJ Junior boot and updates it with improved materials and a women's specific fit. The Alpina RJ has long been the choice of Eric and Adam, BNS employees and coaches of the Boulder Nordic Junior Team. They choose this boot for the kids in their program because it is the most supportive of the junior boots and provides excellent skating and classic performance at a great price. The ER Eve works well for both Juniors and Women looking for a good value in a combi boot.
While these are great combi boots, it is always better to get a skate-specific and classic-specific boots. The combi boots generally have compromises in one area in order to be able to handle the demands of both techniques well.
