Description
The Fischer RCS Classic Zero has a special material in the kick zone to be roughed up and used as "hairies". This ski is very fast around freezing and is spectacular when it is "on." Like most zero skis, however, it has a pretty limited range, so it is definitely a specialty ski, despite the marketing hype that you may have heard.
When conditions call for these skis, they almost always dominate the top of the results list. They should be fit as a relatively soft ski in the sense that the entire kick zone can be put down on the snow. At the same time, they need to support you and have a fairly high camber to keep the draggy hairies from slowing you down. Our 3/3 grind complements these skis well.
If you do not know what length or flex you want, pick something that seems close and we will pick the correct size and flex for you after talking to you on the phone and determining exactly what you are looking for. We call for every hand-selected ski to ensure you get the best fit and performance.
We also have a special Carbonlite make-up ski with a middle inlay material that is faster than the standard rubber inlay. Call us to learn more about these special Zero skis.
