The new Salomon S-Lab Classic boot with RS17. This boot has the RS17 flex pin
placement - it is 17mm behind the toe of the boot where the original
Profil was. The RS17 positioning is new for the classic boots in 2010, putting the
foot closer to the fulcrum adding stability and better feel for the
kick.
The S-Lab Classic is one of our most popular boots due to the fit
and features. The performance fit has relatively low volume, with a
carbon heel cup and one-piece carbon fiber sole making it one of the
lightest, stiffest boots around. Everyone who uses this boot in our shop
likes it for fit, support and supple feel it gives for the ski.
We have a limited run of special "racer fit" boots, which are made on a slightly (2mm) narrower last to give a higher performance fit, especially for those with narrower feet.
