We recommend the Coarse for routine maintenance and final sharpening of rollerski tips and the Extra Coarse for removing material quickly for tips that are quite dull. Everyone needs the coarse, and coaches might want to have an extra coarse stone around.
Sharpen rollerski tips by rubbing the stone with the grain on the metal tip. Be careful to keep the sharpener flat against the rollerski ferrule tip so you don't round the edges. For best results, start with a fresh set of tips and then spend 30 seconds on each tip before you go out each time. It's easy as long as you stay on top of sharpening and don't have to remove a lot of material.
