Boulder Mountain Tour Race Wax Service

BNS Mobile will be at the Boulder Mountain Tour February 2-4, 2012 providing wax sales and brand-neutral race waxing service.  Treat yourself to a full race wax application by our pro service team so you can relax and focus on your race, or just drop by one of our clinics at Sturtevant's to find out what wax is running fastest and stock up on whatever wax you need. We will be testing all brands of waxes to find the fastest solution. BNS will post wax updates to Facebook (bouldernordic) and bouldernordic.com as well as at the Expo.

Details

Our race service is $85 and includes base prep, LF & HF paraffins and pure fluoro topcoats.  For classic skis, we will iron in a binder layer in the kick zone you designate, but we will not wax with the final kick wax layers. You will want to apply those race morning to achieve the best results.  We will test kick waxes, provide recommendations, and sell you kick wax if you need it, but you will have to apply it yourself race morning.

Ski Drop Off

Please get your skis to BNS as early as possible in order to allow us to do base prep and deliver your skis on time and without stress.

Please deliver skis to us clean and scraped.  Print out your receipt and bring a copy with you to drop-off.

Drop-off Options:

Thursday, Feb 2, 2012 6:30-7:15PM at Sturtevants in Hailey (Main & Carbonate) following the Wax Clinic which starts at 5:30
Friday, Feb 3, 2012 12:30-1PM at Sturtevants Ketchum (304 Main in Ketchum) preceding the wax clinic which starts at 1PM.

Ski Pick Up

Skis will be available for pick-up race morning on the deck at Galena Lodge Saturday morning from 8AM-9AM.  Race start is at 10AM Galena Lodge is the drop-off point for the shuttles and is about 1km from the meadow where the race starts.

Refund Policy

NOTE: THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE.  BNS will refund if the race or BNS has to cancel for any reason, but otherwise this is non-refundable.
